Scoped API Keys

Scoped API keys allow you to create API keys with restricted permissions, providing more granular access control for your integrations and deployments.

Overview

While your workspace's default API key provides full access, scoped API keys let you limit what an API key can do. This is useful for:

  • Deploying models to production with minimal permissions
  • Granting third-party integrations limited access
  • Following the principle of least privilege

Managing Scoped API Keys

You can manage scoped API keys from your workspace settings:

  1. Navigate to Settings in the Roboflow sidebar.
  2. Go to the Roboflow API section.
  3. Create or manage scoped API keys from this page.
